The newly installed 10kV Line 114 differs from conventional renovations, with distribution network intelligence being a major feature of this line. A total of 9 intelligent distribution switches have been installed on this line. When faults occur on the line during severe weather, the intelligent distribution switches automatically analyze and assess fault information, quickly locating the fault area. Through the distribution system's automatic remote control of switches, the fault area on the distribution line is rapidly isolated, and power supply to non-fault areas is automatically restored. This significantly improves power supply reliability and reduces the adverse impact on customers caused by large-scale and prolonged power outages due to faults. After fault repair is completed, power restoration can also be remotely controlled through the system. Compared to the previous need for manual on-site power restoration, this method saves time and effort, greatly enhancing efficiency and significantly alleviating the power supply pressure on the grid during peak summer demand.
