Good news! Hangyue Intelligent Electric has won the bid for the largest integrated photovoltaic industrial park in Southeast Asia
In 2025, Hangyue Intelligent Electric achieved a strong start in the overseas market, with a single month's contract amount exceeding 60 million yuan. Among them, the Indonesian market made a major breakthrough, winning the largest in Southeast Asia vertically integrated photovoltaic industrial park project SEG Solar. Hangyue Intelligent Electric continues to deepen its strategy of expanding overseas markets and serving high energy-consuming enterprises.
[The largest integrated photovoltaic industrial park in Southeast Asia officially starts construction]
On September 30, 2024, SEG Solar, a leading US photovoltaic company (hereinafter referred to as "SEG"), officially started construction of its photovoltaic industrial park in Batang City, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The project has a total investment of over 500 million USD and covers more than 40 hectares. Once completed, it will become the largest single vertically integrated photovoltaic industrial park in Southeast Asia, covering the complete industrial chain from silicon ingots, silicon wafers, battery cells to modules, with an annual capacity reaching 5GW (Note: 1GW = 1000MW). This demonstrates SEG's determination to deeply invest in Indonesia and strategically layout globally, continuously advancing towards becoming a global leader in the photovoltaic industry. 
The project is planned to be implemented in phases, with the first phase constructing 10 n-type battery production lines, aiming to achieve an annual capacity of 5GW, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. N-type batteries, as one of the most advanced battery technologies in the photovoltaic field, have advantages such as high efficiency, low degradation, and long lifespan, making them the mainstream direction for the future photovoltaic industry. SEG Solar's 5GW n-type battery production line built in Indonesia will adopt the most advanced production technology and equipment to ensure product quality and performance reach international leading levels.
